Surprise 40th

I had been dreading 40.

It's really not as bad as I cracked it up to be.

I'm the very youngest of the 40-somethings,

So that gives me solace. :)

 

My sweet hubby planned a surprise party for me.

I really had NO idea what he was up to.

(That is until the week before ~ something was said to me that put the thought in my head, and then I started to pick up on clues.  But I still didn't know for sure.  Just suspected.)

I am super impressed regardless.

He's been planning this since January I've been told.

He did a GREAT job!!

And I loved hanging out with my friends celebrating.

Court asked me what kind of cake I would like.  I said a beach cake with palm trees!  Little did I know, it was already being made. :)
