Being a Soccer Mom

Being a soccer mom, does not mean driving a mini van!
I drive my new (to me) red Honda Civic - stick shift no less!
Yep, I jam all four of my kiddos in that little thing.
Love it!

Being a soccer mom does mean dragging three boys along who have no real interest in soccer.
I learned my lesson from the first practice...Bring chairs, water and entertainment.  They were so enthralled in their games, they didn't notice the soccer balls heading straight for their heads.
Gavin kept on jumping in front of the camera, so I took this pic of him to get him away from the lens.

Being a soccer mom means sacrificing my time,
And having absolutely no regrets!!
Bonus for me,
I am meeting new people!
It's fun to get to know others.

Being a soccer mom means being proud of my new little soccer player, her achievements and her guts to be able to get out there and play with other kids who have been doing this sport for years.  I would have never done that.
On a water break.  She's very excited.  Yes, that is her excited look. =)

Coach Paul helping Court with her throw in.

I wish I could've zoomed in more.  Her kicks are intense.

Learning how to pass and dribble (I think that's what they call it).
Will I post a ton of pictures of my daughter playing soccer?
Yep!
I can't lie.
But I'm sure you already suspected that I would.
Being this is her second day of practice and this is my second post.
Just wait until she gets her uniform and she starts playing for the season. :)

Little video of Court practicing her kick for a goal:
Coach says, "Alright Big Foot come on!"
(She's the smallest player on the team)
