November

November is the time we pause to give thanks.
It is important to be thankful all year
and daily give thanks for our blessings.
And no matter what the situation,
we all have blessings everyday.

Following will be pictures of my blessings for the month of November.
Just four of the many things I'm thankful to God for:
My family, my friends, my church, and my country.

In all things...

Giving thanks for our veterans:
My friend talked me into going to the parade downtown.  And I'm so glad she did!
So True!!!
Remembering with friends.  What a wonderful blessing they are to our lives.

Aw, the joy of the beginning of the parade.  Ten minutes later, he was asking if it was almost over.  We still had 2 hours to go. Haha!

And this little guy . . . Just love him.  He's a mini-me. haha!

This picture makes my heart happy.

Thankful

This is one thing I did not expect . . .  I cried.  A woman came by with a picture of her deceased son.  I broke out sobbing.  Don't forget how we became and are a free nation!

After the parade and playing at McWane, we walked back to our cars.  This lit bridge/sidewalk was too cool to pass up.  As an added bonus, the kids burned off a lot of energy running back and forth too.

My boys standing still for like 2 seconds.  My daughter conveniently standing just outside camera range. (She hates getting her picture taken).
Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving held a visit from grandparents and a cousin.  Yay!

Harm making pictures on the couch.  I remember doing this on my cousin's plush bedroom carpet as a kid.

A Christmas present from Grandpa & Grandma Cook ~ Pedal Carts

Kaidin & his buddy finishing a race

Gar & Court taking off

We had a Thanksgiving Christmas with Matt's parents

He just melts my heart

Mario Pajamas ~ Grandma knows him so well.

A Ninjago long-sleeved shirt ~ Another winner.

Harm getting an early Christmas present from Grandma & Grandpa

The all day long Thanksgiving fire.  (With the beginning of early Christmas decorations)

Our first deep-fried turkey ~ That turkey didn't stand a chance with this crazed Cook. . . get it?  get it? crazed Cook? [Insert courtesy laughs here]
Other photos from the month
Gav loves to create things.  And always insists on a picture of it. :)
Kaidin playing bad-minton with his buddy.
Oh, the Spork.  It has become the new favorite utensil of people 11 and under in our family.
The cutest pile of leaves I've ever seen!
I had to get a picture of this.  This may be the only time these two ever hold hands and act sweet outside of me telling them too. :)

Ugh, I hate to end November's picture on this one.  Note to self, take a morning shower before taking a selfie.  haha!  We puzzled a lot this month.  The kids love this activity, and they're pretty good at it too.
God's blessings are all around us.
May I encourage you to
take time to thank Him everyday.
