February

It feels like it is forever February.
How could such a small month last so long?
February weather teases us with 70s then teens; 60s then 20s; ice and snow then shorts and t-shirts.
It's cruel. ;)
I do love that our front tree is starting to bud,
My Day Lilies are 4 inches tall,
and I saw some daffodils blooming along side the road.
Spring is right around the corner!
But, until then,
This is what we've been up to:
----------------
Here is a picture of the hideous snow storm we had on Feb 12-13th.  haha!  Our friends (who live just a couple miles north of us) got 4".
I wanted to write @ James Spann and put our city on the windshield, but for some reason I don't think he would've been that impressed. ;)
(For my out of state friends: James Spann is a local "celebrity" meteorologist)

Snowstorm #2
I got in the crocheting mood again and made a hat for my friend's (almost) one-year-old.
One of those warmer days where the kids could actually where shorts and t-shirts.
This time last year, he was struggling to read.  Now he's reading Dr. Seuss.
Gav got a valentine from his little friend.  So he enjoyed coloring it.
Jupiter and it's 4 Galilean Moons.  (The 4th one the camera didn't pick up)
A Cool-looking library kid
Almost full moon
A Valentine for me from a very sweet and thoughtful friend
 Valentine's Party at the park
His sister made him a Minecraft V-day Card

Our Junk Food Lunch
We discovered that we could take pictures of ourselves with the laptop.  First, a sweet one with my daughter.
Then we got a little bit crazy.

And then, a little crazier.

And I'll spare you the other 6 that we took. :)

And so, I don't end with that bizarre picture...
Here are some flowers that Matt got me one day when I was feeling down.
