COOKin' Down South: Spring: It Came! It Finally Came!

Even though the proof of spring came later, much later than it did last year,

Spring finally came!!

Here's what we've been up to in March & April.

Introducing 'Captain Stripes Jr. XL'

A year ago, Captain Stripes passed away after we could not figure out what he liked to eat. This year, Captain Stripes Jr. XL is eating happily after we googled the caterpillar's desired food. :)

I redid my gardens this year. Well, I guess I didn't really redo it; I just added about 40 new plants. I can't wait until this garden is in full bloom!

I bought a flat of petunias to add some color to the garden

Clematis by the mailbox ~ I planted a twig and a week later, this. It's doing much better than the 2 butterfly bushes I planted. They are still sticks with no green.
