Christmas 2015

No family was able to come and visit us this year.  So since we couldn't be together, here are pics from the last few days.

Can't believe how much they've grown in 5 years! And also how young they were when we moved them 1000 mi across the country!

A Christmas eve tradition: A hayless hayride to see the Christmas lights in the neighborhood

Our chosen winner for best decorated, and what we call the miniature Light Fight house.

They jumped out to get a pic.

My Christmas Card Hall of Fame

Our tradition is to open stockings of pj's on Christmas Eve.  And thankfully Grandma got them pj's, so the tradition continued. :)

Christmas Eve evening: I stayed up as late as I could.  Luckily the kids were exhausted and fell asleep before 10.
Christmas Morning

Group pic: I said, pretend like you like each other... And then I got this (below)

His bought gift

I told the kids to write their top 4 gift choices for Christmas.  All four of his said "Quadcopter".

He wanted this so badly...for the LED lights and 'HD' camera.

She got the 2nd on her list.  Her 1st was out of our price range.  But she loved it and played on it ALL day. :)

Mommy-made gifts: pajama pants

Football pj pants for my girl. ;)

Froggy pj pants which fit him perfectly... good thing I made a 2" hem!

Star Wars pj pants.

From Grammy & Papa: This made her a VERY happy little girl.

All the kids ooo-ed and ahhh-ed over this.  I guess it has rare pieces that are hard to find. :)

I wonder if he was happy about this. Ha!

He loved this set because of the fish and Mario and Luigi's flying suits.

Gifts from Grandpa & Grandma: Church clothes.  Much needed!! Thank you!!

More church clothes

We told her that was her gift from Grandpa and Grandma... She didn't believe us. Haha!

I know you're jealous mom of my beautiful cranberry sauce.  You can still see all the ribs from the can! Perfection in processed cranberry form. :)

And just in case Christmas wasn't exciting enough, a tornado warning was issued for our area around 5pm.  B'ham had one, but we did not.  Thankful for God's protection over us.
Merry Christmas!
