1st Day of School

We started school today!  It was a bizarre, but good day.  The kids did their Language Arts and Math Facts in the van while we were stuck in traffic and in the financial aid office of a technical school.  After a trip to Aldi, we were on our way back home to get lunch and continue school.

The kids all sat in front of the window (which I decorated with window markers).  It had "Welcome Back!" and their names, grades and various subjects written on it.

They were actually begging to do workbooks that weren't scheduled in today's schedule.  There was no complaining.  And, I haven't started to count down yet.  All in all, it was a great first day. :)
