Pool Takes A Lickin', But Keeps On Tickin'

I don't know what it is with us, but we keep on inadvertently abusing our pool.  We have accidentally ran the motor dry on numerous occasions.  We have put a hole in the side with the help of our lawnmower.  And now we have run over the power cord with said lawnmower, severing the cord.  All things have been fixed and the pool continues to function.  But I have to ask myself, How much more abuse will this thing take?  If these accidents continue and our pool finally gives up, I think we're gonna have to move the trampoline in the pool's place.  A trampoline with a deck & slide...Now that would be interesting.
